Well done to those who had put in the effort to put up pieces that were played in Whitley. And for those who went to Whitley by themselves, to support us, THANK YOU ALL! We really appreciate the support that you gave us. :)

And now... The announcements.

All Juniors that are going for CIP on Saturday 1st September, please report outside the band room at 8.20am SHARP. Please be punctual. Your attire will be your band tee and school culottes/pants. Those who have not returned your signed consent forms, please return it to Celestine by FRIDAY 31st August.

Please be reminded that the next band practice will be on Monday 3rd September. Please report in the band room at 7.45am SHARP. BE PUNCTUAL! Juniors, don't forget to bring your theory worksheets for junior band after main band practice. I might not be there ( I know you won't miss me) due to NCO pre training. Please listen to Pamela and Celestine and do whatever they told you to as I left them in charge. Be cooperative and you'll be happy. :)

How to get to Whitley Secondary?

Here's a map,

The nearest MRT station is Braddell MRT Station (NS 18). The journey would take about 42 minutes. The ensemble concert in Whitley will start at 3pm but you will have to be there by 2.30pm. For non-performers to Whitley, please make your way to Whitley Secondary as one whole big group. Don't leave anybody out. Please do wear your band tee with your school culottes/pants.

For the performers, please report in the band room at 1.35pm. We will leave for Whitley at 1.45pm. Make sure you have your scores and instruments with you. Everyone is suppose to have their own scores. No sharing of scores please.

HELLOOOO!

Just a reminder to the Juniors. Please remember to bring your CIP consent forms on Monday, and submit it to either Celestine or Pamela. Attendance for CIP is compulsory. The attire for CIP is band tee with school culottes/shorts.

For the SWS concert, those who are going, please bring $10 for the tickets on Tuesday. For those who are unsure whether you are going or not, please confirm with me latest by TUESDAY.

Those ensemble performers, you are required to put in more effort and practise more for your pieces. Mr Wong, will be hearing you guys play on Tuesday, 28th August. Please practise really hard cuz you only have a few days left!

Yesterday was a fine performance at Paragon. Many passerby and teachers commented about the performance and said that it was good. Keep up the good work. But, there is always room for improvement. :)

More pictures will be up soon.

For sections that will be going for ensemble presentation at Whitley Secondary School, please let me know what piece you will be playing and who will be playing before Monday, 13 August.

HEYYY CORAL CONCERT BAND!

Like the new band blog? It's all thanks to SHINING! *claps* Even though the blogskin is not done yet. It is still nice even before it's done. :)

On FRIDAY 3rd August, please remember to bring your band tee. Reporting time will be 2pm. Muslim boys, the latest is 2.30pm. Please be punctual. :)

The attire for 8th August will be RED POLO TEE with ~~school culottes/pants~~ band skirt/pants and white shoes. Section leaders, please inform Vivian the total number of red polo tee ordered for your section. Each tee costs $15. Inform her latest by FRIDAY, 3rd August 2007. Those who already have their own red polo tee, please remember to bring it on Friday.
