hey wassup people!

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR TO ALL!
for those people who are celebrating.i wish u all a long and prosperous new year ahead!
and for those who are not celebrating,i hope u are spending ur time wisely on this longbreak from school and band.PLS DO PRACTISE!AND NOT TRY TO PRACTISE!
remember we aim to achieve higher everytime we practise.

okay...and now for the event happening at istana tmrw.anyone who wanna go can message me 91130461.i'll be waiting at at ws,mrt station at ard 11.30.there.latest by 11.50.any later and ur on ur own to the istana.PLS.PLS TAKE SOMETIME OFF UR BUSY SCHEDULE AND SEE HOW OTHER BAND PERFORM.dont miss this oppurtunity to see a good band perform for FREE!

HEY HEY!

I know most of us don't know much about the Band Rules ya? So, here you go. The list of Band Rules. Read it carefully and remember it. Don't tell me that you don't know when you are asked during the next band practice. Heh heh. X)

UPDATE OF BAND RULES!

1. Be punctual, cooperative and discipline at all times!
- Do not talk when anybody else is talking (be it Mr Wong, Teachers, Band Leaders etc.)

2. Attend regularly for band practices
- Irregular attendance will not be tolerated and will be punished.
- Only FIVE parent letters are allowed.
- After a member has finished using all of the five parents letter, only MCs will be accepted.

3. Respect your Seniors/ Mr Wong/ Band Leaders/ Teachers

4. Be quiet and pay attention during Main Band practices.
- Do not talk or play during Band practices or in the middle of changing scores/ songs.
- Give your full attention to Mr Wong and reply him loud and clear when asked a question.

5. Always bring your Manuscript book and pencils for every practice.
- BE PREPARED WITH THESE THINGS AT ALL TIMES! Or else... HEH HEH...

6. Be in proper school approved attire.
- Wear Coral school socks at all times; Shirt tucked in etc
- Attire checks will be conducted in every practice.

7. Tuition/ External Music Classes in not an excuse of not attending band practice.
- CCA is a compulsory school activity. If it is skipped, it is counted as TRUANCY.
- Those who have any of these classes that clashes with band practices, will have to change the time slot. If unable to do so, a letter from your parent is needed.

8. No food and sweet drinks are allowed in the band room.
- All members will have to rinse their mouth with plain water after consuming food/ sweet drinks.

9. Always fall in quickly when told to do so. Do not fidget and talk among yourselves.

10. Everyone is expected to take the morning run seriously and attendance will be expected from everyone of the members.

11. Take good care of your instruments/ mutes/ reeds/ mouth pieces
- Those who drop their instruments/ mutes/ mouth pieces will be punished.
- These items are expensive and are not easy to be bought.

12. Original scores taken from the library, should be returned in perfect condition and on time.

13. Drills/ Warm up exercises are to be taken seriously.

14. Keep the Band Room clean at all times.
- Bags and shoes are to be neatly arranged.
- Used newspapers are to be thrown away.
- All rubbish to be thrown into the waste paper basket.
- Waste paper basket to be emptied by the section which is in charge of the cleanliness for the day.

ALWAYS REMEMBER YOUR BASICS! And PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE!

ONE BAND, ONE SOUND! :D

If anyone doesn't know. Morning run is conducted every Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning. BE PUNCTUAL. Those who are late will receive extra rounds and those who don't turn will have to run around the parade square.....
