for instruments smaller than a trombone and eupho, maybe you wanna bring it home and conduct sectionals in canteen!

Please make full use for the 3 weeks band break to

solve the problems that mr wong/mr chan/mr sukit had pointed

out. Plan your sectionals well, don't go with an empty mind.

Know what to do before hand !

You have to work hard in order to make the 30dec concert

a success.

a rather wordy post, but its a MUST read. so hang on yeah~

during the band break [which i know everyone is looking forward to], 5 sectionals must be held in total! and that's th minimum number!
WHY?!
'cause 2 days to settle Die Fled, 1 day for march blue sky, 1 day for believe, 1 more for set piece!
and if your section is really, CMI, go for more! :D
and there's not enough time for full band, so do cooperate with your SLs!

HOW TO RUN SECTIONALS?!
each sectional, run through 30 mins of basics, minimum 15 mins,
if you wish to spend more time on pieces.
*remember, you're not supposed to play any wrong notes for basics!*
5 mins for tuning, both individual and section wise!
for the rest of the time, SETTLE problems in pieces.
however, do give short breaks once in a while (:

before sectionals:
plan out what you want to solve,
list the problems out, then the solution.
mr wong, mr chan, mr sukit have gave us and suggested to us various ways of solving difficult problems.
SO USE THEM!

-by 22 DEC 2010, write out your
1: section's attendance [please urge your section mates to attend!]
2: date and time, venue
3: what you've done & solved
for all five sectionals, or more.
